AI startup EliseAI announced Tuesday that it has raised $350 million at a $4 billion valuation, double what it was valued at when it raised its Series E last August.

This latest round was co-led by Andreessen Horowitz and Bessemer Ventures. AliceAI, founded in 2017, automates administrative and operational tasks for housing and healthcare organizations. It says its software is used in 1 in 6 apartments across the country and announced this summer that it had passed $200 million in ARR.

Earlier this month, Ellis announced the launch of Apollo, an AI “teammate” that helps with tasks inside the EllisAI platform. “It’s built locally on the same platform that already runs leasing, maintenance and renewal,” co-founder and CEO Minna Song told TechCrunch. “So it can work across every role in a property team.”

EliseAI also helps automate patient-related paperwork for specialist physician groups on the healthcare side, “from the first inbound call through referrals, scheduling, insurance verification, chart prep and follow-up, so nothing falls through the cracks,” he said. The agency targeted housing and health care because they are “the biggest expenses for American families,” he said.
