Seven arrested on extremist suspicions remanded for three days

A court has granted three-day remand to seven people arrested in separate raids on suspicion of involvement in extremist organizations in a case filed at Jatrabari Police Station under the Anti-Terrorism Act.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Monirul Islam granted the remand on Sunday (July 12).

The seven accused who were remanded are Shah Amanat Sabir, Hossain Tanim, Junaid, Ataullah Shah, Abidur Rahman, Bayojit and Tahsin Islam alias Sultan alias Musanna.

Additional Public Prosecutor of the CMM Court, Shamsuddoha Suman, confirmed the matter.
