Chittagong: 18 new dengue cases have been reported in Chittagong in the last 24 hours. One more person has died of dengue during the same period.
This information was given by the District Civil Surgeon’s Office on Sunday (July 12).
According to the Civil Surgeon’s Office, out of the 18 people infected in the last 24 hours, 9 were admitted to government hospitals and 9 were admitted to private hospitals and clinics.
Among the government hospitals, six people have been admitted to Chittagong Medical College (CMC) Hospital. Five of them are suffering from dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) and one is suffering from dengue shock syndrome.
