Prime Minister of Bangladesh and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman is visiting Barisal on Monday (July 13).
This is his first official visit to Barisal division after assuming office as the head of government.
As part of this visit, he will participate in two programs in Goura Nadi, the gateway to the southern region. His visit has created great enthusiasm among BNP leaders and activists throughout the southern region.
According to party sources, the Prime Minister will depart from Dhaka on Monday and reach Goura Nadi on the Dhaka-Barisal highway at 10:30 am. Here, she will inaugurate a tree plantation program organized along the re-excavated Batajor-Sarikol canal in Batajor union of the upazila and will exchange views with the families of family card beneficiaries at the Batajor Ashwini Kumar Institute ground.
